The space

Our cabin is thoughtfully designed to provide the ultimate Big Bear experience, combining modern comforts with fun, unique features.

Step into a bright, airy living and dining area, the heart of this newly-renovated gambrel cabin, decorated in a modern, boho-chic style. Unwind on the comfortable seating and get cozy by the no-fuss, gas-burning fireplace after a day of adventure. For entertainment, you’ll find a flatscreen TV with major streaming platforms (Netflix, Disney+, Hulu), high-speed WiFi to keep you connected, and a great selection of plenty of games for fun-filled evenings.

The updated, fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare delicious meals, from a quick breakfast to a full family dinner. We’ve also included thoughtful touches like USB and charging outlets throughout the home for your convenience.

The cabin comfortably sleeps your group in two flexible bedrooms, complemented by two full bathrooms, both with bathtubs and showers for a relaxing soak.

The real magic continues outside. The private, fully-fenced front and backyard offer a secluded woodland setting and tons of space to play. The back deck features a shaded dining area, a propane gas BBQ grill, and a cozy firepit for cool mountain evenings. The front yard is an adventure zone with its own saucer swing and a private zip line! We also provide sleds and snow toys for winter fun.

For your convenience, the cabin includes a laundry room with a top-loading washer and dryer and on-site flat driveway parking for up to three cars, all located in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. For your peace of mind, a single, visual-only recording security camera is located at the back door.

Guest access

Guests have full access to the entire cabin and yard. Please enter and exit through the front door and use the keypad lock for self check-in. There is no key to the sliding door; please ensure the slider is locked when you leave. 

House Rules
  • Check-in: After 4:00 PM
  • Check-out: Before 11:00 AM
  • No smoking anywhere on the property
  • Booking guest must be 21 or over
  • Only guests on the original booking are allowed to stay overnight
Cancellation Policy
  • Full refund for cancellations made up to 30 days before check-in.
  • 50% refund for cancellations made less than 30 days before check-in.
  • No refund for cancellations made less than 14 days before check-in.
Other things to note
  • Pet Policy: We are dog-friendly! Please pick up after your pet outside. We ask that you try to contain pets to the first floor. A third pet may be allowed with an additional $50 fee; please inquire.
  • Good Neighbor Policy: The booking guest must sign Big Bear’s new mandatory ‘Good Neighbor Policy’. This is a city requirement asking guests to be courteous and not throw wild parties. Hefty fines may be issued for noise complaints.
  • Trash Disposal: All garbage must be taken to a local trash facility upon departure. A $25 per bag fee will be charged for any trash left in the cabin.
  • Yard Safety: Please enjoy snow play and sledding on the side of the house and in the front yard. The steep hill behind the back patio is off-limits due to landscaping and for your safety. Use of the front yard swing and zipline is at your own risk.
  • Fire Safety: No open wood fires are allowed outside, per city ordinance.
  • Upon Departure: Please wash and put away all dishes. Please leave the heat on and set it to a minimum of 60 degrees Fahrenheit so the pipes don’t freeze.
  • Weather: No refunds or cancellations will be made due to adverse weather conditions as long as at least one route into Big Bear is accessible.
  • Security: There is 24-hour outdoor monitoring with exterior cameras for your safety.
