Terms & Conditions – Summit & Shore

Welcome to Summit & Shore. By booking a stay at one of our properties, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a reservation.

  1. Booking & Payment
    • All reservations must be made through our official website.
    • A valid credit/debit card is required at the time of booking.
    • Full payment is required to confirm your reservation, unless otherwise specified.
    • All rates are listed in USD and are subject to applicable taxes and fees.
  2. Check-In / Check-Out
    • Check-in time: 3:00 PM or later
    • Check-out time: 11:00 AM
    • Early check-in or late check-out requests may be accommodated based on availability and must be approved in advance.
  3. House Rules
    • No smoking inside the property.
    • Pets are welcome but require an additional pet fee (mandatory).
    • Guests must comply with local noise ordinances and respect neighbors.
    • Maximum occupancy limits must be observed at all times.
    • Unauthorized parties or events are not allowed.
  4. Cleaning Fees & Taxes
    • Summit Cabin: $120 cleaning fee
    • Shore Apartment: $75 cleaning fee
    • All stays are subject to local taxes:
      • Summit Cabin: 13% local tax
      • Shore Apartment: 14% local tax
    • Additional fees may apply for extended stays or excessive cleaning.
  5. Cancellation Policy
    • Standard Cancellation Terms:
      • Guests may cancel up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund, minus transaction fees.
      • Cancellations made 7–13 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.
      • Cancellations within 7 days of check-in are non-refundable.
    • Early Departure or No-Show:
      • No refunds will be issued for early departures or no-shows.
    • Force Majeure:
      • In the event of natural disasters, government restrictions, or other force majeure events, we will work with guests to provide flexible options including rescheduling or partial refunds at our discretion.
  6. Liability & Damages
    • Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay.
    • We reserve the right to charge for replacement, repairs, or additional cleaning if needed.
    • Summit & Shore is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.
  7. Privacy & Security
    • All guest information is kept confidential and used solely for booking and communication purposes.
    • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  8. Modifications & Termination
    • We reserve the right to cancel a reservation in case of rule violations, safety concerns, or force majeure circumstances. In such cases, guests will be notified and refunds will be issued as appropriate.
